(A) We’re off to enjoy a Farmers Market on the Halifax boardwalk. It’s the oldest contiuously-running farmers market in North America. I have high hopes relating to pastries and coffee.

My hopes were realized. I had a Berliner (jelly donut for you JFK enthusiasts) and a cranberry/orange muffin. And coffee!

Later, we took a ferry across the strait to the town of Dartmouth. We visited a park, which was set on a hillside. As such, we had to do a fair bit of uphill walking to reach the summit. The view from up there made was worth the effort!

Once back on the Halifax side, we walked to a great pizza place for supper. We had too much fun, apparently, because some of us wound up in ye olde stocks! Following that, we went for some ice cream. Great day.
