Day 3 - June 10

(A) After a rainy night, it’s a lovely morning! Of course, I woke up at 5:15 for some reason, but I managed a couple more hours of sleep before I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee. I also had some peanut butter on an English muffin, and it made me aware of how much sweeter peanut butter is in the U.S. (And I don’t mean in some romantic, patriotic way. I mean in a corn-syrupy sort of way.) This is the sort of thing one thinks about on a breezy, sunny morning in Bedeque, PEI.



 

(A) I have now been to an Irish pub in Canada. I wonder if I’ll find a Canadian pub in Ireland. The poutine was good, but it had shredded cheese instead of curds. Guess I’ll have to try another!


 

We’re staying in a quaint farmhouse, not far from which are some red sand beaches, wave-battered cliffs, and a lighthouse.
