(A) Our morning started with coffee, waffles, and sausage rolls at the Summerside Farmers Market.
Summerside is a seaside town about twenty minutes from our rental house. We walked along the harbor and down the main street. We stopped in a few shops, and the store owners seemed genuinely excited to meet people from so far away. One of them gave us a lead on a good place for lobster rolls, which we’ll try one of these days.
Later, we brought lunch to the Chelton Beach Provincial Park. For a Saturday in the summer, there were way fewer people than I expected. But there were plenty of big pine trees to sit under.

(K) Of course we found the Seaside Bookshop and browsed for treasures, The owner was thrilled to meet visitors from so far away and had lots to tell us about the island.

There is a firepit at the edge of the property in front of a large red door. I haven't tried to go through yet...
The sun rises here at 5:18 AM and doesn't set until 9:15 PM, and our first fillup cost $77 ($6.44 a gallon)
