(A) After yesterday’s long drive to the Highlands, we needed a bit of a restful day. So, we only drove an hour, to the town of Kilmarnock. It’s near the southwest coast of Scotland, just below Glasgow. Kim and the girls went to a movie, while I sat in the coffee shop near the entrance of the theater.
On the way, we stopped at the Burnside Tearoom and Filling Station for some gas (I mean, petrol). It’s either a really dodgy tearoom or a really classy filling station.
On the way home we stopped in the next town up the road to pick up some dinner. We grabbed a pizza from one place and some noodles and spring rolls from another. It was all great!
